Description
The Briton 5 is a sturdy wood burning stove, simple in design, with a very wide screen on the door allowing for a large viewing area.
This stove has an outstanding efficiency of 80.7%, an output up to 5kW, optional top or rear outlet and is available on a Plinth with four legs (as shown in the image above) or can feature a Log Store or Pedestal (as shown overleaf).
The Briton, which is designed and fully manufactured in the UK, benefits from an Air Wash Control to regulate the rate of burn of the wood (lever above door) and a Tertiary Air Control which mixes pre-heated air with exhaust gases allowing the exhaust gas to re-ignite producing a cleaner and more efficient stove (lever below the door).
An unusual feature of the Briton, is that the top can be removed without disturbing the flue connection, allowing for an in depth cleaning of the air controls and this stove has an inbuilt flue draft test point.
